Merlin and me talk on the Bayesian podcast about forecasting the election

Alex Androrra interviewed us, and I guess it makes sense to post the link before the election is over.

A couple months ago, Alex interviewed Jennifer, Aki, and me to talk about our book, Regression and Other Stories. I can’t figure out how to directly link to that; you’ll have to follow the above link, click on Episodes, and scroll down.

Thanks for doing the podcast! As an outsider, these sorts of discussions are quite helpful for me to get those bits of insight that I miss from reading textbooks, blog posts, literature, etc.

Direct link to the “Regression and other stories” episode (youtube):

  3. Thanks for sharing Andrew! I just wanted to chime in to say that the podcast now has a brand new website, where each episode gets its direct URL 🥳
So here is the link to the POTUS episode (https://www.learnbayesstats.com/episode/27-modeling-the-us-presidential-elections-with-andrew-gelman-merlin-heidemanns), and to the “Regression and Other Stories” episode (https://www.learnbayesstats.com/episode/20-regression-and-other-stories-with-andrew-gelman-jennifer-hill-aki-vehtari).
Time to bet on when you’ll come back on the show 😉
